How pricing works
Each plan has a device allowance, and the advertised price is the monthly fee divided by that allowance — which is how plans of different sizes become comparable. An annual subscription costs 20% less than monthly.

I went past the device limit
Enterprise has a per-additional-device rate, charged pro rata. On the other plans the path is to move up a plan — the dashboard warns you as you approach the limit, before anything is blocked.
Changing plan mid-cycle
The difference is prorated over the remaining days. Moving up takes effect immediately; moving down applies from the next cycle.
